The club will be holding it's annual club closure August 24-27. During this time we will conduct routine annual service of exercise equipment, plaster, repair and paint projects, along with overall cleaning of the club. The club will re-open on Friday, August 28.

Shannon will be conducting her yoga class outdoors on Monday, August 24 and Wednesday, August 26 at 9:00 am (contact Dana for location details). We'll also have a Boot Camp class at the Lower Woodland Play fields at 5:30 pm on Monday and Wednesday.

Feeling a Little Unbalanced?

Get your functional movement assessed by one of our personal fitness trainers. The Functional Movement Assessment addresses your bodies ability to move efficiently and highlight any limitations you may have. From the results, your trainer can prescribe a targeted exercise prescription and rehabilitation program to help you correct these problematic areas. Improve functional and athletic performance, reduce the risk of overuse and athletic injuries, improve physical imbalances or weaknesses and allow your trainer to better individualize a training program for you!

Assessments are complimentary with your membership, contact Dana Hansen to set up your consultation.

Seattle Milk Fund – Thank You!

Thank you to everyone for supporting our first SAC Cares program. Train the Trainer was a huge success; raising $685 for the Seattle Milk Fund through bidding on the opportunity to Train the Trainer. The animosity that some members had was somewhat overwhelming but all in good fun.

LaMont still has a big head but Bennett did make a few tear drops fall.

Dana’s biceps are now bulging because of Sharon.

Both Eric and Rose seemed to have found the floor extra comfortable courtesy of Stephen and Shelley.

Christian nearly drowned thanks to Brian.
Featured in the Café: Chicken Caesar Wrap

The human body is largely made up of proteins. They enable the cells in the body to detect and react to hormones and toxins and form antibodies which help resist infection. Eating 4 ounces of chicken per day can provide up to 67.6% of the daily requirements of protein for the average person. Chicken is a simple, smart, healthy choice for you to get your protein intake.

Stop by the Café and try our Chicken Caesar Wrap with grilled chicken and romaine lettuce in a spinach wrap.
